Teaching through:
feeling – observing – thinking – doing

  • I work in the intersection of art, ecology, and education, exploring new ways of communicating the climate crisis through film, photography, and teaching. I see learning as a participatory process — one that emerges through sensing, observing, reflecting, and engaging with the world directly.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Ecology, Power, Culture & Sustainability from Lund University, where my thesis explored contemplative education and systems thinking in climate change teaching. My work centres on helping people relate to ecological crises with reflection, presence, and care, rather than overwhelm.

I am particularly interested in embodied and contemplative practices as ways of reconnecting with the more-than-human world. Through this, I explore how inner and outer sustainability continuously shape one another.

  • I see education as a relational and transformative process rather than the passive transfer of information from experts to ‘students’. Rather, my teaching is grounded in the belief that climate education must create space not only for knowledge, but also for reflection, emotional awareness, and critical engagement with the systems we are part of.

I am schooled in a systems thinking perspective that understands the ecological, social, and cultural crises as being deeply interconnected. At the same time, I believe that learning happens through embodied experience — through attention, dialogue, observation, and participation. That the body holds an ancient wisdom we can listen to, if we are present.

Thus I aim to create learning spaces that cultivate presence, curiosity, and collective reflection. On how to relate more thoughtfully and compassionately to ecological challenges and to our own role within them.

  • Since 2022 I have been teaching for CIEE – Cultural International Educational Exchange. Where I develop and facilitate interdisciplinary courses within climate, ecology, sustainability, and visual storytelling:

Nature Photography, Social Media and Environmental Engagement
    Global Environmental Policy
    Environmental Psychology
Sustainable Development in the 21st century
    – Climate Change Science
    – Taking Climate Action & social engagement

I also do online and in-person workshops on the topic of women’s connection to land, feminine stories and myth in relation to land. Also as a part of the We are the Land project, that you can find more information on here.

And I offer tailored lectures, workshops, and courses for schools, universities, cultural institutions, and organisations working within climate, ecology, embodiment, and social change. Get in touch to hear more.
